Cdrive 60 Posted January 10, 2013 I may be able to help, depending on the error. Right Click on My Computer and go to 'Manage'. When that opens you should see a few things on the left side, one of them labeled 'Event Viewer' - click the > on the left of the label and open 'Windows Logs'. Double click on 'Application' label that you should see in your middle window, which should open up a list of informations, warnings and errors. If you can sort through that list and find me the error specific to Arma II (which should be labelled as a warning or an error) and copy + paste the error log found in the box below I may be able to assist you. List it if you are. ex. AVG, Norton etc.You also mentioned you just got the computer you're using right now? In that case do you know anything about the hardware? I'm wondering if you're capable of removing ram.edit: First thing you can try though is disabling windows defender. Go to Start and Search Windows Defender. When it's opened click 'Tools' and under that click 'Options'. Under the 'Administration Options' tab there should be a checkbox under 'Use Windows Defender'. Click it off and save/close the box. Restart your computer and then try and run Arma again. Let me know how that goes. Edited January 10, 2013 by Cdrive

Cdrive 60 Posted January 10, 2013 (edited) So your game opens, and you can view the server browser (not the DayZ commander one but the actual game one) but when you try and join a server it starts responding?Check your event log ( that I posted above) and see if there is an error for the response issue.. and post it here.** could a mod move this thread to Troubleshooting so we aren't stuck at the top of general discussions? thanks! Cdrive 60 Posted January 10, 2013 (edited) From experience the DayZcommander crash may be caused by .net framework issues.Download it here: http://www.microsoft...s.aspx?id=17718 and install it. If it asks you to repair (which means its already installed) repair it, then see if you get the DayZcommander error again.Edit: Arma 2 error may be caused by a bad BEclient.dll. To fix this navigate your way to your computers equivalent of E:\Users\Admin\AppData\Local\ArmA 2 OA\BattlEye where 'Admin' is your main user login. Delete your BEclient.dll and replace it with a new one found here: http://www.battleye.com/download.html. Restart steam and try to get into your server again. Let me know.If you don't see AppData you can click on the 'Organize' tab at the top-ish of your window and go to Folder and Search Options. From there go to the 'View' tab and under 'Advanced settings' find the 'Hidden Files and Folders' option. Make sure you click the 'show hidden files and folders' button and save and exit. You should see it under your user folder now.Have you tried manually joining a server AND using DayZcommander or only through the app?
