Wolf Zombies in woods and the ability to leave notes.

Recommended Posts

1. Yeah so I was running around on my daily death patrol of "my area" and I was thinking that it could be nice to add some sort of dog or wolf like Zombie in the deeper darker part of the woods, not every wood cause that would be hell but something to make you need to pay attention when you're crossing a large town free part of woods.

2. Also as my travels have taken me further and further off the beaten, zombie filled track in search of player placed rubbish compactors (some call them tents?) I have often felt the need to thank my proxy hoarder for amassing a huge amount of rubbish for me to gleefully rummage and to resupply off :) so adding the ability to put a "thank you" note in someone's tent might be nice.

Just some thoughts guys

Cheers

Zombie dogs are not really necessary. I think a dog or two that get scared off or a group of dogs protecting their homes would be find enough.

Zombie dogs always turned me off of zombie movies and what not. What's next? Zombie COWS? Dafuq?

All in all, i think ambient life SHOULD be there, like a bear or dog, but only should attack if you

A) Shoot one of them

B) Invade their home.

If they're just roaming about, you should be able to scare them off or just ignore them. Wild Life should just act as normal.

This isn't resident evil where GIANT SQUID ZOMBIE OF DOOM COMES OUT OF THE OCEAN AND ATTACKS YOU D:

Note's or "journals" would be wonderful. >->

Yeah you make a fair point on the dog front I find myself agreeing with you on the ambient life thing (also good job on that RL-Fail thread found myself agreeing with you there too)

:D hahaha. Yeah... But let's not digress into Noob-politics here.

Ambient life would be great. Hawks to shoot, more animals to gut and possibly make items out of. >-> I know that this isn't minecraft, but... Zombies and post apocalyptic stuff SHOULD be about making stuff to make do.

Hell, maybe you could find a way to TRAIN a dog. o.O

The zombie wolves isn't something I'd like added, but the notes definitely. It's something I even thought while playing today.

I like the notes for sure. It would be cool just to leave a note for a friend somewhere they know to look for it. You could also have a bulletin board of sorts with notes like "Munchy took my stuff! Kill him on sight!" :D

But who would really want to spend a bunch of time reading things when you could be dead any second doing it?

Reading things is a part of the zombie apocalypse. While trying to find some sort of human to contact, either via radio or via some other means like flare guns, you would want to create notes for someone who happens to come through here.

Example: "Watch out, crazy guy holed up in grocery store" or "Contact radio channel 8 near Pulkovo."

It's more or less another means of communications for not finding a radio (if we ever get them.)

notes would be awesome. 'nuff said. would add a whole layer of immersion, as currently the only way of organizing among survivors are the forums.
