You can't beat em join. Open fire on everyone you meet. There are movements out there to change that but with dozens of new players coming in every day adopting the SoS based on their first experience with another player (which is them being shot at) it's unlikely to change. You want friends, you join a gang. Otherwise, you KILL everyone you come across.

But they don't. Look to most of the threads involving killings, the OP openly admits to not even going down to loot. Most of the time they kill, and leave.

Don't give Rocket the idea of putting in Slender, fucking Christ to see that 12 foot bastard as tall as the trees trucking through the forest line with me would make me alt-f4 the fuck out of there.

I guess I'm a little behind, but where has rocket said anything about underground structurers?

I thought of that, but then if thats true why do I have 4 murders? Even if they d/c'd their bodies would still be there right?

So, I just had my first massacre today. Now, I'm the kind of guy that doesn't shoot until fired upon. I don't like killing people if I dont have to, but today I need clarification that I did right. What went down was this: I spawn in cherno, doing some looting, expecting me to get shot, no big deal. Welp, I came across an AK and 2 magazines, so bringing that I out I head to the fire hall. Going up and down the stairs, I end up come out front to have shots fired upon me. I think it's one guy, so I head back around and climb the ladder while I have time. At the roof of the firehouse, I see a group of 4 men. I level 3 of them, 2 with my Ak, the other one with the help of a zombie. The last one comes up behind me I guess trying to be badass, but I get the jump on him and level him as well. I take the guy's behind me stuff and head off. Now, I have two questions: 1. The other 3 bodies, they were gone! All within two minutes time, is that really the time the body despawns, or did these guys fucking disconnect? 2. Would you have done the same in my situation? Like I said before, I dont like killing if I don't have to, but I feel they didn't leave me a choice in the matter. 3. I've now got 4 murders under my belt, and no doubt people will hear the heartbeat. How can I make up for this?

Seriously though he does have a point, killing without looting is a waste on your end. Could of saved those rounds for when you needed them.

Did you go and loot their stuff?

I think it's way to fast personally. 9/10 times I'll hear some flies only to have it be nothing because the body de-spawned.

I was in electro, I went to the school and on the top there was 2 prone gentlemen. Being the friendly freak I am, I extend my voice over DC "FRIENDLY FRIENDLY" expecting shots to be fired any second. But, they didn't move, so I went in their packs, looted them, and left. It is strange, I can see this being a glitch for perhaps one guy, but it to happen to two guys, right next to eachother?

I think thats one of the reasons I like it. It's 1000 meters wide, or one could make several 300 meter wide clouds throughout the map moving. To see one coming from a distance on top of a roof would be a fucking nightmare. And in a game where all people do is spawn, and shoot unarmed people, maybe this is just what the game needs to have people come together again, or at least not shoot as much for fear of attracting the mist hoard.

I like it. To have this monster of mist appear in the middle of the wilderness. It would truly give a sense of eeriness to those who stick to the woodland areas. It would be a monster without a face, making it even more frightening.
