can anyone explain this? i changed servers, i loaded the new one and booom i was back at coast as a noob after loosing all my shit. i was also like one tire away from finnishing a car i had repaired.

na mate i joined the server i have been playing all day its really frustrating, i had no death screen dont know wat happened.

Perhaps the server reset the character database, or possibly you logged whilst in combat, resulting in a glitch.

Just some possibilities to consider.

is it worth spending an hour running back to see if my body will be threre, or would it dissapear?

if the server doesn't restart while you are running, your body will be there. i didn't this when i had your problem, but when i've been killed and i ran to my body, even if it took more than half an hour, my body was there..

then, once i had this glitch but i respawned in the air over my body, and logging in and out, falling a couple of seconds every time, i managed to land near my dead body and take my gear.

If it happens to me I log off and back in again, more often than not, I find myself back in my original character. Unless of course the server was wiped and started again.
