terex 322 Posted January 9, 2013 (edited) Sorry if this is the wrong board for this but I would like to share my little experience with this private hive and to warn others about it's corrupt admins. A firefight took place yesterday in which they banned me for "hacking" and whatever pathetic excuse they fish for with that. The video has the entire thing. After I was banned I made a topic on their forum. The post clearly said multiple times "this is not a ban appeal" and that I wanted to share my side of the event. It was a good firefight, enjoyed it and it's what I think most players look for in DayZ. The fights that make you jump and shake. I never got to see the replies but the topic was deleted when I went to check up on it. I made another topic after reading some of the in game chat I missed at the time. They questioned my gear, questioned how I had it on a "30 min old character". My character was at least 8 or 9+ weeks old, probably longer and it was maybe 7 weeks since I have even played DayZ. My times might be off but it has probably been longer then that. I explained how I previously played on my character with a friend and we geared up, had some fights a while ago. Instead of reading what I had to say they fished for more, said I was a hacker because I never put in a ban appeal. Well, I am not appealing a ban to a server in which the admins banned me for no reason aside from they couldn't handle a loss. There are other private hives and much better ones, I always recommend BMRF, out of every server I have played on and playing DayZ for easily 1500+ hours, BMRF has been by far the best server and I always recommend their private hives to others wanting to play. I'm more then okay with the outcome, if anything I enjoyed the fight and to poop on some silly admins trying to use their powers to pick on players. This only took a few minutes to make. I really cherish the DayZ community and the game/mod itself. I have high hopes for it and only look forward to it progressing. Just sharing my short experience and to warn others from this crappy admin server.Below are two replies I saw before the topic was locked and then deleted on the second one I had made.-----------------------------------------------"Re: Topic Deleted? Hunk D.by Twombles » Wed Jan 09, 2013 7:19 amHey Hunk D,As of right now I will not lift your ban simply due to the influx of dayZ Nav users on our home server. It is extremely hard to trace and from the video you link it looks like ESP seeing flanks before they happen. Who knows? You could actually be a great gamer and we falsely accused you but that is something for the admin team to discuss at a later date. The video, to me, looks quite suspicious seeing as the L85 was removed from the game just before the time you "took a break." Don't view this as the admins destroying this server for you because, again, I am only one of the many admins that frequent the BDB servers. Like I said before, give it some time and we will get back to you but for right now the ban stays. Thanks,TwomblesI don't read the script, script reads me.The WombatTwombles[bDB] MemberPosts: 67Your originally post was more of a "look how good at games I am" rather then a legitimate ban appeal. Especially considering you've now incorrectly posted a ban appeal in the wrong section twice. There's a forum for ban appeals...You'd be surprised how many people use hacks or programs to help their game. As admins we don't have the time to look into the chronological timeline of your DayZ Career, especially from one life to the next. The bottom line was this, you were doing something suspicious and got banned for it. To increase security I would rather bans be handed out, and questions asked later. I've experienced far too many mass tp's, mass slaughtering, and other troll shit to give anyone the benefit of the doubt while my finger hovers over BAN GUID. Typically the hackers don't post to appeal their bans, and so already we're on the right track to determining the status of your integrity.Either way, posting QQ threads in the wrong section - and choosing not to follow proper ban guidelines means this thread will be locked and closed as well. If you want to draft up another ban appeal - omitting the cinematic retelling of events this time - then I will look over it.You were having problems finding the BAN APPEAL forum. Here's a link: viewforum.php?f=3Locked/ClosedKUSHz"-----------------------------------------------"cool7588 8 hours agoI've played on bdb before... On their TeamSpeak the admins are talking about what gear to dupe next, and how they use the "admin map" to find innocent players to kill with their duped as50's. Also, more than half of the players on bdb use navigator. Just all around a dead server." Edited January 9, 2013 by terrex

Dreygar (DayZ) 178 Posted February 4, 2013 I have played on that server and I must say it has some serious Admin abuse issues.
gloopsgf 35 Posted February 4, 2013 Have these admins seen the ban appeals section of these forums? There are script kiddies making pathetic attempts to get unbanned since their daddy won't buy them a copy of the game....These admins are what I call useless shit. It is their job o check the players dayz career, to make sure their ban is being issued for proper reasons.Don't join clan severs, end of issue
