Hi All,

I thought that you could leave one server and join a new one and keep all your gear? Every time I join a new server my gear from the last server is never there?

Also is there any way of sorting through the servers to find the servers you have played recently?

Get DayZ Commander to easily find/filter DayZ servers and update your game/maps.

Edit; And, what you've heard is true, but only for some servers.

There are "private hives" and DayZ-hive servers.

You can hide unofficial(non-DayZ-hive) servers with DayZ Commander, and that way you can switch from one server to another and keep your gear. Private hives save your character progress to that server alone.

on dayz commander, unofficial servers have a small cloud with a ''x'' inside, on those you don't keep your stuff and you start a new ''life''. without the cloud, it's always your public char
