Fps lag with my new computer.

I understand DayZ needs heavy optimizing but all the same I was expecting my new rig to run it comfortably on high settings.

Specs:

EVGA GTX 660 TI

I5 3570k @ Stock

8 GB Ram

Now I seem to be getting around 30-40 fps outside of cities but as soon as I go into a town I get around 15-25 fps.

Can someone help me?

follow this guide, it ll help u get the most out of ur system

expect around 30-40fps in cities and 60-70 in plains

in short, put post processing off, and video memory to default.
