Help me with my annoyingly bad fps!

Recommended Posts

My computer specs are Processor: Intel® Core i3 CPU 540 @ 3.07GHz 3.06GHz

Installed memory (RAM): 8.00GB

System type: 64-bit Operating System

I have an Nvidia gtx 550 graphics card, i can run battlefield 3 on medium with 60 fps, I have done the setting my GPU_MaxFramesAhead to one and stuff, but it hasn't helped at all, any ideas so i can run atleast at 30Fps, instead of when i enter electro having it run at 9 fps max.. ?

I'm going to say Processor too, 8GB RAM is more than enough.

Definitely go for a quad core soon! I played with Dual core for about 6 months, 30fps was unheard of for me.

Got a quad core 3450 @3.2GHz, I now run 50-60 fps on Very high, even with a 560Ti.

I'd say an i5, 3540 (3.4GHz?) or 3570k (up to, maybe above 4GHz) for overclocking.

Do you know any good places to buy an i5 in the UK, because the places i have checked are very expensive,
