type regedit.exe into the search bar on the start menu (shortcut hit windows key and then start typing)

run the registry editor.

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432NODE\GOG.com\GOGARMA2 and then remove the backslash at the end of the keys in any of the folders

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432NODE\Bohemia Interactive\ and remove the backslash at the end of keys in any of the folders

i dont know what else to suggest removeing the \ from the main files in the registry should of done the job as it cant find the folders in arma as it is looking for //the only thing i can suggest is doing a clean install uninstall everything and reinsatll it and use the key program to insert the key run it with admin rights before starting up the game go into the resitry and remove the backslash double clicking on main and removing the backslash from the end of the path for arma2 and arma 2 oa then launch arma 2 and arma 2 oa to the menus with admin rights and launch combined operations by adding "-mod=EXPANSION;ca" to the shortcut aslo with admin rights then install and launch dayz commander check the paths are correct (with no backslash at the end of them too) and then install dayz and arma beta patch

then try to launch dayz

you can also make a shortcut for dayz by moving your arma beta patch to the main directory over writing the old arma2oa.exe and creating a shortcut to that with "-mod=EXPANSION;ca;@DayZ" -nosplash
