How to use voice chat?

Im, new and I was wondering how I can use the voice chat so I can talk to other players so they dont always shoot me? Is it complicated to do?

Default is hold down 'Caps Lock'. You'll need to be in direct communication by pressing , and . Until it appears in the bottom left.

For reference, you can also double tap Caps Lock to leave talk on until you press again to turn off.

ArmA will use the microphone selected as Default, I can add info on how to do this if needed.

Thank you! Ill try it out..

And one time I was by some airfield or something and as I was going their, there was 2 guys and they both were talking and they asked if I was friendly and I couldnt answer so they shot me.
