Major HELP needed

Hi,

i'll cut to the chase.

I have recently downloaded the mod. well tried to.

WHenever I try to install/update ANY DAYZ version through commander, I get different errors

if i try the newest version it says

Error: exception with web client server and then comes with a big address to a file but i cannot see all of it.

If i try the version before it randomly closes and says there was another error.

I have tried to open port 21 and am re-downloading now, but in the meantime any suggestions?

Should also mention that I am running game through steam in options and when i double click on a server it opens through OA and then goes to main menu, it says

@Dayz mod beta on the right hand side

I know it's not very helpful but at the moment it's probably just best to re-install all if possible. Try some other stuff first though, it'll probably take a while to download on most connections.

Use re-downloading as a kind of "Ok, nothing else has worked for the past hour, let's just try this from the start" thing. Good luck.

as much as i would like to, it has taken me about 7 hours to download OA and 9 for arma 2, don't really want to :s

For me, this issue was resolved by waiting. In the meantime, you could try SixLauncher.

Pay close attention to the Steam Overlay and all that sticky-shiate. :lol:

Personally. I started with Commander but had upgrade/version conflicts. Installed the DayZ supported Play withSix and nothing but joy, since.
