BattleEye Ban "Access Flooding"

Recommended Posts

Hi there,

my name is Johnny, im from Germany and I got a Problem.

Last week I got banned from DayZ by "DayZ Anti-Hax" or BattleEye.

I got "banned" on the 2nd January 2012 at 19:52.

Each time I logged into a Server, there appears this message:

"You were kicked of the game. (BattleEye: Admin Ban (DayZ AntiHax 02.01.2013 19:52 (Object Access Flooding)))"

I dont know what "Access flooding" mean and I also dont know what to do.

Please tell me, if there is any Option to remove the ban, or what I can do?

I contacted the BattleEye Support. They replied:

"it's a third-party ban, it means that we can't do anything about your ban and you need to contact DayZ Anti-Hax instead."

So I contacted DayZ Anti-hax and got this answer:

"I believe the project is unofficially dead at this time. The flooding feature of DayZ Anti-Hax was never perfected, especially during periods of heavy lag or desync,

and as such false-positive detections can occur from time to time. If you believe you were globally banned from DayZ servers,

DayZ Anti-Hax likely isn't to blame as you are likely on the DayZ Community Banlist"

Could someone please help me? I dont know that to do and all the People at BattleEye and DayZ Anti-Hax Support cant help.

Friendly regards from Germany

Johnny

This is a local server ban, either play elsewhere or make an appeal to the server it's happening on.

The Problem is, that im banned on MY OWN Server. And if I got to any other Server, this message also appers.

So its a global ban, but I cant do anything.

If it was a global ban it would say that, what does the actual ban message say exactly? If it's an anti-hax ban then it's local to your server and you will need to remove the ban.

On every Server, not only on my own.

I try to remove the logs and try to reload the banlist..

My problem is also, that my Server didnt enable DayZ Anti-Hax.

It sounds like you're on the community ban list and are being auto-banned from servers TBH.

Shut down DayZ Anti-Hax, remove your GUID from bans.txt assuming DayZ Anti-Hax has added it there then delete all references to your GUID in your createvehicle.log file. After you've done all this, restart DayZ Anti-Hax and you should be good to go. You can set 'shouldCheckForFlooding' to false in your config.cfg to prevent future flooding false positives.

Only other thing I can think of is you are on the community ban list (which hasn't been maintained for months now), that shouldn't even matter on your own server though as since your the admin you can simply remove your ban from the banlist. :/

As above posted by smasht_AU

You also need to delete the entry in DayZAntiHax.log :)
