DayZ Commander & Server Join

Hi,

I am new to the game, just have it for some days. I am using DayZ Commander to start and connect to Servers. But there are two things:

1. Lots of servers get a 10000 ping when clicking on them. Is that a bug in the Commander?

2. Although I clicked "Hide wrong Arma2 version" and "hide wrong mod version" most times I connect to a server i get a "wrong version" error. As well game as mod are on actual version... (bought the game via steam)

i use dayzcommander all the time and the only time the ping its like that is if there is connection problems ei server isnt actally online restarting or something or the ping is above that

if i was you i would

close steam

start steam in admin (right click and run as administrator)

right click on arma2 and properties then local files

click on verify integrity of game cache <-- do it twice

and do the same for arma2 oa

run arma2 to the menu

run arma2 oa to the menu

click in expansions

make sure the following are enabled

arma2

arma2 oa

arma2 baf lite

arma2 pmc lite

if not enable them and restart then exit the game

in dayz commander reinstall the latest beta patch and dayz files and try again

I start steam already as administrator (needed this anyway for mass effect). Game files are ok, I can play on some servers though.

The ping problem is if i mark the server, i get very often a ping 10000, after a while when refreshing (approx. 2-5 mins) there's the regular ping.

Ok tried again, reinstalled DayZ.

I can connect to server DE 3714 (v1.7.4.4/build 99515) without any problems. Played there for about 2-4 hrs.

Tried to connect to DE 686 (v1.7.4.4/Beta 99515), can't connect.

And I just don't understand that :-/

When the "number of players" on the first overview display differs from that what you see in the game

is that an indication for someone is hacking?

What exactly is a ghost hack?
