AmberHelios 2071 Posted January 3, 2013 (edited) why ask then if your not gonna accept it i wouldn't play on less then a proper quad core deffo not a threaded dual core Edited January 3, 2013 by AmberHelios
zzmik3yzz 1 Posted January 3, 2013 the i3 beats most amd quad cores :S its just as good as the 965 phenom? so i can tell you its not the processor
sharx69@gmail.com 10 Posted January 4, 2013 cpu and hdd is your major limitations. arma also loves ram, so 8 gb will increase perfomance. like above stated a proper quad is 'mandatory'. an ssd would resolve issues regarding sudden dips in the frames :)
sharx69@gmail.com 10 Posted January 4, 2013 Yes, the Intel cpu beats AMD in most tests. However most of these are single-threaded and intel is the king of single threading. however Arma is heavily multithreaded. This gives Amd an advantage, since they sell true quads for a lot less than intel demands :)
sharx69@gmail.com 10 Posted January 4, 2013 Last little note. Check your application setting regarding video settings. look at post process level and AA, decreasing these parameters gives a nice performance boost. also object detail adjustment will help...
