Motorbikes In Dayz? Plzzzzzzzzzzzz

Well heres my idea and it would probably be a lot of the devs to ask but can u please put in motorcycles.

Motorcycles meaning Harley's, bmw etc.

I would love to ride around with my clan like in the Dawn Of Dead Movie (1978).

There are variations. There is the green motorcycle and the red with yellow flames motorcycle. ;)

And there are more motorcycles available in the ArmA 2 base content.

I don't really see the point in adding harleys and BMW's though apart from the OP's apparent love for these brands?

I mean, should we be adding high performance cars such as Lamborghini's and Porsche's too? What about a Nissan Micra? How about electric cars?

Really, the vehicles in DayZ are used for transport. The make and model doesn't matter really. We have bad cars (slow offroad, easily damaged) and average cars and good cars in game already. We have the quad bike and the motorcycle, both fitting their respective roles.

The old bike is also an excellent (quiet) mode of transport and the helicopter is very versatile. Though i am looking forwards to seeing a littlebird. (as it's much more nimble than the UH-1 and MI-17)

Oh by the way, i would however like to see the vehicles on road/off road speeds adjusted. As it is now, on a gravel road even the UAZ should be capable of maintaining 100 kph at level ground.

Of course they might not be as controllable at high speeds but that's what you have brakes for. (Or in the case of the motorcycle, no brakes at all apparently. That could do with a fix too!)

It's not an either/or scenario. Both are sorely needed.

In fact, most of the transportation available feels a bit clunky.

Variety is the spice of life, but it's a bit limp without the meat of polished gameplay mechanics.

first off i just found some brands but what im talking about aint the dirtbike... i want motorcycles where u can lean backwards into the seat with your arms held high... those types of motorcycles.... if u understand... im having kinda of a hard time explaining it lol

And no im just talking about motorcycles i think comparing this to Lamborghini's and racing cars is taking it a little out of proportion.

Just some basic motorcycles would be nice.... just a suggestion.

Choppers and cruisers?

I have been riding bikes for years now, but the last thing i would want is a bike in a Zombie Apocalypse, they are easy enough to fall off from without grabbing arms and street walkers luinging at me, the only good thing about motorbikes is the offroad variety. No for a Zombie outbreak you'd need an APC.

Game mechanics don't allow realistic movement in vehicles...you just sit there with a stick up uranus. They would have to redo the whole game just for that...
