I've been gone for so long...

I haven't been on DayZ since September. Joined a clan and everything went to hell, the game wasn't fun anymore, to much drama. Has it improved at all since then as far as the hacking situations and all that go? Thanks!

I think im gonna say this for the billionth time but the hacking is an arma problem not day z, there is nothing they can do. That being said there r lots of private servers and hacking happens a lot less often on the private hives.

Thanks! I suppose I've never really thought of it like that. I think I enjoy public servers more though, just that extra feeling of...not knowing. Maybe that's just me.

I joined to a public server today after being away for a long period of time. I was happy to see that I still had my gear on and had nice amount of supplies, but I didn't get too far when I was teleported and killed -.-

The hackers are prevalent in many public hives. Private hives I don't like because they start you off with gear.

As I type this some hacker has put me on a 1-hr knockout timer that is about halfway finished

The age of private hives is in full motion.

A few updates have passed by, and several new maps that I suggest you give a shot.

Welcome back!

That's a huge generalisation. Private hives are the best way to avoid hacking and enjoy the mod how it was meant to be enjoyed. No combat logging as well which is a plus.

Funny, cause I don't remember that much hacking before DayZ came along. It's the DayZ community, it's DayZ's problem.
