reset my password every patch?

every patch i have to send 3-4 emils to get my password changed and im getting sick of it. I had to change my password over 6 times now and it only happends after patches. My question is why me?

What do you mean by "patch"? Are you talking about ArmA 2 beta patches? Or new versions of DayZ?

If yes, how are they related to your forum password?

I moved this to troubleshooting.

That sound extremely strange, DayZ version releases have nothing to do with your forum account or it's password. How exactly does it get reset? Are you just forgetting the password?

Why would that reset your password? the forum and the mirrors are completely different things

I have my web browser to save the password and i know what i change it to as i have it on paper.

This is my question is why has this only effected me?

When the mod updates it has nothing to do with the forum, are you sure you're not forgetting your password as wusten said? or why don't you have it so it stays logged in

catnipkiller, are you sure you saved the latest password to your web browser after logging in with the new one?

For example, FireFox will ask you "Do you want to update the password for this account?" if you log in with another password than the one remembered by Firefox. If you fail to answer yes, your old password is still saved in the browser and you won't be able to log in with that.
