Do i keep my stuff when hoping servers?

Hey guys, just wanted to ask if i keep my items and gear with me when i switch servers?

Only if they connect to the same hive (database)

All public servers connect to the same hive run by the dev team, so your items, gear, location etc will persist across all of them.

Almost all private servers connect to their own hive database so your gear/location etc will only stay on that server.

Some private servers connect/share a single hive (Private Vilayer servers connect to 'Vilayer Hive' etc)

Majority of servers nowadays are private servers/hives. If you are using DayZCommander you can filter them by ticking 'hide unofficial'
