stealthninjaAP 4 Posted January 2, 2013 Here is a list of the things that I have previously tried:Anything to do with the whole "Run>Regedit" thing. Every time I try and delete the ArmA 2 OA folder, it says that I do not have permission to do it. I have tried running CMD as administrator and then deleting the file, but it won't work. I have also tried changing the permissions for the folder. That didn't work either. I am an administrator on my computer as well.I have deleted all the files in my steam folder except "steamapps" and "steam.exe" which did not work.I have tried running steam as administrator, right clicking on ArmA 2 OA>Properties>Local Files>Verify Integrity of Game Cache. This has not worked.I have contacted the people to see if I can get a new serial key, as suggested in one of the stickied threads in this subforum. They have yet to respond to me.Please do help. I would really appreciate it. Here are some screenshots that may help you out. When I try and Launch Arma 2 OA or join a server through DayZ Commander:When I try and update my Arma 2 build through DayZ Commander:Thank you in advance.- stealthninjaAP

stealthninjaAP 4 Posted January 3, 2013 (edited) Sorry, this doesn't seem to work for me. I launched Steam as an administrator, and ran Arma 2 Operation Arrowhead, but it still gave me the same "Bad Serial Number Given in Setup" error.Nevermind! I found another solution. Thank you for the help. Edited January 3, 2013 by stealthninjaAP

stealthninjaAP 4 Posted January 16, 2013 I changed the permissions for the files for ArmA 2 OA under Regedit, such that "Everyone" could modify the files. Delete the two files, then launch ArmA 2 OA. After that, launch DayZ.
