Waffenator 25 Posted January 2, 2013 Hello, Looking for another father and son or mother and daughter teams to survive with in DayZ. Our time zone is GMT +1 and times online are roughly 1900 to 2200 up to two days during the week and 4 hours on either a Saturday or Sunday once a week. Sometimes more sometimes less. We play the game in a relatively disciplined...slow is smooth, smooth is fast style. We take calculated risks. Generally do not shoot unless first shot at, however, we hunt bandits actively and that usually is our main activity. We play the game as more of a simulation then video game...but in the end its still a game. Oh, we are patient and friendly and although we sound like hard cases we really are not ...just a bit disciplined. Our word is our bond. We accept others break theirs but we dont break ours. We speak the Scandinavian languages, are semi ok in Spanish, and English is our mother tongue. So, any of those languages is ok for us..Oh, we may swear in German sometimes for comedic effect.

Waffenator 25 Posted January 2, 2013 Why father and son or mother and daughter? Very specific for some reason. In any TEOTWAWKI event families would be trying to survive together, But in this case we just happen to enjoy the genre. 8-10 monthsMy youngest son is a bit older than that..pisses me off to, he takes up three slots in the Coyote pack. ,-). Where is a tacticool barnebjorn when you need one?
survivorcarl 21 Posted January 2, 2013 Yep, my 2 sons actively play the game with me... Got sick of the unclean language and sidechat on other servers so started my own through Dayz.st... That never fixed the issues lol. They like to hunt bandits or anyone who shoots at them first. They also like to move around and deliver vehicles using the heli lift/cargo features we modded in... Stop by and check out the server one day, you need rMod to play with the cooler vehicles.
the horror 262 Posted January 2, 2013 Me and my 17yo son play pretty regularly. Would be good fun to party up with another family team, but unfortunately our time zones are out (GMT+10 here)

Sula 1205 Posted January 2, 2013 I'm amazed at the languages you speak yet you say English is your mother tongue? Are you sure you're English? We're not meant to be very good at languages. For example, this is my finest .... Deux croissants et une cafe creme s'il vous plait, Monsieur.

Waffenator 25 Posted January 2, 2013 I'm amazed at the languages you speak yet you say English is your mother tongue? Are you sure you're English? We're not meant to be very good at languages. For example, this is my finest .... Deux croissants et une cafe creme s'il vous plait, Monsieur. :huh:As long as us anglophiles try to speak French we are largely forgiven by the French for things we are not responsible for. :lol:Honestly, English is a foreign language for me, because I was raised American, where I was taught to speak 'Merican. My wife is from Scandinavia and over the years we have lived or worked in all three countries so the language has rubbed off to the point of I can fool Swedes into thinking I am Norwegian, and Norwegians into thinking I am Swedish...if I do not say too much...but the Danes know right way..they just cannot be fooled so easily. In school my wife and I studied second languages and as what happens to many students we dont really learn them...sadly, I can only speak world war II german... Angref! Snell! Macht snell! We want to retire in Central America and out oldest studies it so once or twice a week we have a Spanish night...where all words are in Spanish and the iPads are close at hand for when we get stuck and need a translator.
