when i see videos of dayZ players back in may or june or whatever, theres a face on top of thirst, where the G17 combat indicator is now, im guessing it's humanity or medical problem indicator (shock, cold, etc.) but im curios, i joined in october or november, so i wasn't there beforehand, and veterans want to elaborate?

Ayup, humanity. To be honest I'm a little sad they removed it before I joined it was pretty funny watch youtube videos of people mowing down a few guys, then see the face change ^_^ from to >:)
