Just a quick question about Arma OA Beta or normal

Recommended Posts

So i purchased Arma][, Arma][ OA (and hence Arma][ OA beta) on Steam to play DayZ

Is the beta a more up to date version than the plain OA?

Am i supposed to use the beta version with the latest version of DayZmod to get the best, most up to date DayZ experience?

What are the differences between OA and OA beta? and how does that impact DayZ?

is there a good guide or webpage write up on this topic anywhere??

Cheers.

Yes, use the beta, even if a server says it requires ******* beta, thay are backward compatible.

I'm runing on 10296, which is the latest beta and since a short while has been added to the ArmA Steam options.

You can keep up with the beta builds here http://forums.bistudio.com/forumdisplay.php?82-ARMA-2-amp-OA-BETA-PATCH-TESTING

* note that it will state "also deployed on Steam" when valid in the beta Topic.
