Ladder Slide

Why not have a quick way of going down the ladder by having the command to slide down it and make the trip down a lot quicker, what do you guys think

Sounds good as long as it isn't like other games where you slide down at mach 5 and magically take no damage just because you where on a ladder.

Make it so when you slide you have to control the speed of your descent or suffer damage as you end your trip and if you gain too much momentum you are pretty much f-ed as you won't be able to slow down anymore.

Like the old bike brakes on a steep slope going down, if you speed up too much you are on the ride of your life going down that hillside at 100 kph... Which has happened to me with the inevitable marriage with a tree.

I like the idea.

It's not going to be a major game-changer, but EVERY SINGLE TIME I'm coming down a ladder, I wish for this feature.

Especially while getting shot at.

Don't try it on old wooden ladders. There's a good chance you'll give yourself a nasty splinter.

what about a zip line ?

imagine on vorkuta roofs for eg and zipping down players shooting at you would be epic

i did that on a hill with a dirt ramp at the end, unfortunetley for me it did not end well
