Skyris 0 Posted December 28, 2012 Hello, I've been having this problem recently with high ping. It's been kicking me out of a lot servers to the point were I don't want to play anymore. For an example when I get into a heli I get ping of 13k + so the server kicks me. Thus having the pilot wait for me to log in. I know its not a Performance problem due to the fact when I log on to a decent server with a low ping (servers with 0 players) DayZ runs perfect, maybe with a few lags (very mild lags). My internet is the problem, I know this for a fact with the constant yellow chain. I don't understand though, I have Verizon FiOS which is a really really good Internet provider to have. Every other game I run is pretty damn fast. I've listed my specs below (Don't laugh its a old computer with decently cheap new parts).PC SPECS:Windows VistaDell Inspiron 530Intel Core2 Duo CPU E4500 2.20GHzASUS Radeon HD5450If you need anything else just ask. Inception. 9443 Posted December 28, 2012 How often do you shut down your computer? And do you have DayZ Commander open?
Zombiech 2 Posted December 28, 2012 (edited) Well, it could be your PC to...I recommend that you get a Windows 7 or 8 operating system. Now if you don't think the problem is your PC and you think the problem is your internet, then just unplug the wire that makes your internet work, and then plug it back in.Now if that doesn't work, you could delete some processes that are running.Do Ctrl+alt+delete all at once, then press the task manager option, then go to the processes tab, then delete processes that you aren't using at that moment.EDIT:If your still lagging on DayZ, then go to the start button (Bottom Left) then click that, then right click "Computer" and select properties. Once you do that, go to Advance System Settings. Once you done that, go to the Advanced tab, then go to to the Performance settings. Then select "Let Windows do what's Best for my Computer." Once you do that, the appearance will change on your PC. If you don't like it, you can change it back anytime by selecting "Adjust for Best Apperance." Since then Its been set to best preformance.
