oldenworld 16 Posted December 28, 2012 Just got a fucking EPIC kill on DayZ. I was playing with a friend who I covered from a distance whilst he looted a deer-stand by Stary Sobor, moments later I see this bandit running across the field. I fire 5 shots at him with my DMR, one nails him right in the head, we loot his corpse to find a scoped m4 with 6 mags, and a ton of other useful shit, how he didn't see us is beyond me. So if you're reading this Mr. XY, I'm sorry for killing you. I was almost killed by a sniper with a DMR on another server moments before that, to thankfully be saved by my friend. If you'd like us to drop the loot anywhere, we'd be more than happy to. You were a Bandit, but I still feel I acted too rash. Hope everything's okay.

The2ndLink 156 Posted December 28, 2012 Covering a friend with a sniper rifle can be a pleasure :)Also when looting, have someone watching over you is also a good feeling.
DoomsdayClock 34 Posted December 28, 2012 Ahh he didn't get that bandit skin by giving out free hugs; you almost definitely did the right thing kililng him

bigdogsco 143 Posted December 28, 2012 not necessarilyTrue dat. I've had a bandit skin for a while now purely because the players who tried to shoot me missed and I didn't. Humanity calculations are a bit wonky in that regard.
JustThatEpic 72 Posted December 28, 2012 If you wouldn't have shot him, he would've shot you and your mate. Consider yourself lucky for making a rash decision.
