Monitor losses signal

Recommended Posts

I've just recently downloaded Dayz for my brand new PC and have been able to play it fine from 2 minuets in to an hour and a half. The problem is randomly my monitor will lose the signal and I wont be able to turn it back on. I then have to restart my computer, when I do this is see that my internet connection (hooked up right to router) is limited. Though after my screen losses signal I can still hear the in game sounds so I know it's still running. Everything for Dayz and ARMA2 is updated. Can anyone help me

My system. (h9-1300t)

  • Hard Drive2.0 TB - 7200.0 rpm
  • Operating SystemWindows 8 64
  • Graphics Processor1GB AMD Radeon HD 7670 [DVI, DP, HDMI, VGA adapter

That could be a problem with the ports on your video card. is it an onboard GPU or did you go out and buy a video card?

Edit: Reason i say video card is because some video cards when they begin to overheat lose signal as a result.
