Stand alone vs arma II question.

I'm thikning at buying Arma II. i like the game, but my rush is to play Dayz more than the actual game. should i wait to the stand alone? will it be a game like arma II or a F2P?

mostly that... should i wait? or rush iwth the holidays sale?

Do you want to play the DAYZ mod?

If so then yes.

BUT firstly try A2Free to see if it suits you, if you are unsure.

Me? I'd recommend it, especially while there's a sale on.

i have only 50usd at this moment, and they will be all the money i have on my card *soon on steam* for this month... and half of january.

i've tried the free version and i liked... i don't play that much of military sims, but i like shooters in general.

i was thinking, since i don't get money in my account that often. should i wait until the stand alone? will it be long?

i don't want to buy the game for just a few months of nejoyment, then have to buy another game...

I cant really advise you definitively.

One would imagine the SA will be released in the next few months.

Tomorrow? possibly.

March? possibly.

We just don't know.

If you are short on cash and are desperate for the SA, then save your pennies and wait for the release.

Again, I'd go for the steam sale option, but that;s just me.

Well, if you do go for it, check out site like Armaholic for great mods like Hell in the Pacific, i44, ACE. etc etc.

If you like military sims/shooters then I would take advantage of the sale. If you buy Arma CO you're basically getting two full games plus all of the mods that are available (including DayZ). If it's only DayZ you're interested in then save your pennies and wait for the SA.
