Need help in terms of new maps

Recommended Posts

So I fell in love with Chernarus the first time I played DayZ and have stck with it. But with SA so (hopefully) close I imagine I will spend a good amount of time on it, and to give myself a reason to keep using the mod I will be exploring new maps. Any suggestions on which map(s) I should check out first, and any tips I should know? I've seen a few different maps in Frankie's videos but I'm not sure the pros and cons of each, as well as community opinion.

Hello there

I have been and always will be a big Lingor fan. I recommend it.

Okay, thanks all. I'll be over at a friend's house later today for a 24 hour DayZ marathon, and I'll be sure to check those out :D

Check out Namalsk and Panthera.

I personally hate Taviana. To me it feels like a "toy city." Everything is all perfect and neat. It doesn't feel post-apocalyptic at all.

Namalsk, Panthera, and of course Lingor (my personal favorite). Taviana is great, if you find a server with a lot of vehicles, otherwise you'll spend 99% of the time walking, and you had better hope you don't pick the wrong direction, otherwise you'll just starve to death. Celle is also pretty cool, but suffers from the same issue of don't go the wrong way.
