Friend's profile is loaded

Well at first i wanted to see what DayZ was like so i borrowed my friend's combimed ops cd and used that to play DayZ and it loaded his profile. (At the time he was new so it didn't matter).

Now i bought it through steam and when i go to play it still shows his profile there and still makes me play as his so we can't play together or it will d/c him if i try and play. I deleted all the previous data, uninstalled the cd version before i bought mine but im still having this problem. Someone please help.

Run OA as admin to change it to your copy.

If you want a different profile name you will have to change it on the main menu.

did you also deleted the arma 2 profile folders in "Documents" and in "AppData"? ("AppData" is a hidden folder)

I deleted it in documents and each time i load the game it comes back and by AppData do you mean the folder in steam called AppData?

EDIT: I found appdata and in the folders it has arma2.RPT and ArmA2OA.RPT plus other folders in OA. Do i delete those?
