The geared players are not screwed.

Most geared players have some form of Silenced weapon, this new patch is not screwing them at all, (including myself who has SD weapons), all we do now is aggro a ton, feed them into a narrow kitable area, kill them, do what we were doing before.

Not really much change, please stop posting that Geared characters now have a challenge aswell, wasting some SD ammo is not challenging, neither is the ammo even rare, it's a common find and farming it is easy to do.

If you really want to post viable comments, don't look stupid doing it, I bet half of the players stating that geared players now have a challenge aren't even Geared.

Highly geared clans have even less of an issue.

There are a few people stating that geared players now have issues trying to farm areas etc.

This isn't the case, it's basically the same as it is before, train some zombies into.. just read the OP.

Second point you made is basically your point of view, how is running to a firestation, finding an assault rifle, killing or doing the same into other buildings hard now?

Actually it's easier, in some buildings that have 2 ways in/out (entrance/exit) you can kite them in, break line of sight, farm a gun, run out.

Game is actually easier, people figure this out and no more immersion at all.

I can tell you that the SD ammo are rare.. in fact you need to think 10 times before deciding to use them. I had to abandon silenced weapons (M4) few times because of this.. and i'm one that doesn't waste ammo at all.

Plus i'm not sure why you should penalize those guys only because you didn't invested your time to find a good loot, or to survive with it.

The fact that Ammo boxes usually contain 20 SD mags makes people exploiting pussys?

Mp5SD / M9SD are found in Stary with ease.

Especially with a small group ensuring safety while one guy farms.

A helicopter crash with the right ammo box is 10 Stanag SDs right there. My group and I find multiple stanag SD mags every airfield run. MP5SD is rare, but M9 SD is fairly common.

I'm now something like 10 hours in, I found a Silenced MP5 the first half hour, and since then I found ZERO mp5 SD mags.

Could be because I'm new and I don't know where to search but still.

Could be because I'm new and I don't know where to search but still.

It is, once you get the systems down and the know how gaining whatever you want is not hard, it CAN be time consuming for a sole survivor but for a small group (even just 2 players) or a whole clan it's nothing beyond simple farming.

I'm running with a group that can bring me 4 guys and all the ammo I need at any time.

No need to worry about spawning defenseless, I just have to wait for the candy van of ours to arrive.

A game never will provide a level challenge for any one farming/gearing.

(Unless a flag goes up to alert all zombies in a 10km radius if someone has SD ammo)

That being said I don't think this is a major issue. Quite often farming goes against the whole point of a game and people get bored of the routine.

Farming is it's own worst enemy- death by repetition.
