speedemon24 0 Posted December 25, 2012 Hi all, for the last week while I was playing both Arma 2 and Day z at random times my nvidia driver crashes and makes the game instance display black but the game still works, like i can still here the sounds and im still in the MP game. The windows kernal says your display drivers have crashed but recovered. I have a gtx680 with the whql 310.70 driver, so the must up to date drivers as of now. I did reinstall both the game and the mod but no progress. Also disabled and lowered the video options to see if that worked, but sadly no. I google the same problem but found no real solutions so do anyone of you have advice or a fix. Also Arma 2 is the only game thats doing this to me, so I think possibly it is a incomablity with the drivers and the game engine. Thanks.
vandal gab 1384 Posted December 25, 2012 This is not gonna help but I have a gtx680 with the whql 310.70 driver and have no problems whatsoever. Have you tried the Nvidia forums?
ast65 11 Posted December 25, 2012 did you try pressing 'shift' and '-' at the same time, then typing 'flush'?it´s only a workaround, though :/

vandal gab 1384 Posted December 26, 2012 (edited) You could try rolling back the driver try 310.64 beta or previous. All I can find on the matter is overheating issues.shift + - flush was a fix for artifacts that are no longer a problem in the mod.Edit - Have you changed any of the settings in the Nvidia control panel? + have you Overclocked you gtx?
