Finding compatible servers?

So I'm relatively new to DayZ, but I'm getting pretty good at it. My question is this: when I'm looking at the server list, how do I find one server that is compatible with another? For example, if I were playing on one server and had a lot of good supplies, but then night comes and I'd rather play during the day, how do I find a server that would start me from the same place I left off on the other server?

If your playing public servers just join another with better time, you may need to check a few to find the "right time"

You can pay on the public hive (Tick 'Hide Unofficial' in DayZCommander)

Otherwise there is no real way to tell which private servers are sharing a single hive, most are on their own but there are a few that share, Vilayer does I believe so you could search for that (Only by joining them and seeing if your character carries over will you know for sure)
