So lastnight i was playing on a private hive, got bored went over and played some wasteland.. suddenly a hacker starts flooding the game with jets and tanks falling from the sky and the server gets rebooted.

Anyways this morning i try to log in and i find i have a Global ban #9f4942 i have looked on the forums and read battleeye and it seems o be a case of we dont give a ****.. it is your own fault.

I as a customer am slightly confused now there is no real way of getting in contact with battle eye (i have sent my email requesting information and to be un banned) but from what i have seen hundereds of CD keys have been stolen?? funny that there is a sale on now? << probably me being pissed off for thinking that.

My question is how long if at all do customers get a response from Battle eye? ye i do understand that dayz have nothing to do witht he process (apart for the fact that the engine they use is full of hacking and complaints so whos fault is it realy??? )

It's impossible for someone else to get you banned or steal your cd key in-game. The only way for this to happen is if you downloaded malware (which steals your cd key) or you used cheats yourself.

No idea how long it takes for BattlEye to respond, but they investigate each report.

I am sorry but WTF are you going on about?

Just checking your username on Google shows it's the same person that is registered to pretty much every website using that handle (Chris).

The majority of pages are about Runescape Botting and Runescape Hacking.

Every day there are loads of people complaining about being unfairly banned, I'd say 90% + of the time they are hackers with a crappy sob story or playing dumb - I'd say it's the same for you.

is there any point in even buying a new CD key? cheap anyways but that is not the point!! i can easily go buy another and be back on playing nothing lost but is it even safe to??

The thing is, you don't just get 'banned for nothing'.

There are 2 ways you get banned.

1) You are banned by BattlEye for hacking.

2) Your key is stolen by downloading software and replaced with a banned key.

There is no conspiracy where BattlEye is out to get you - there are over a million players and the majority that get banned and complain turn out to be hackers, pretty much every single one of them.

Obviously there are a few misbans, if you email support@battleye.com and they check and you are not a hacker then you are unbanned - it happens very rarely though.
