Looking for a team or group of mature people

Recommended Posts

Hey guys, I'm kinda new to DayZ but as a huge fan of zombie and post-apocalypse lore, I'm very enthusiastic about the game. The problem is I don't have anyone around me to play with. So if you have a group or want to start a group with, my steam id is deception_genesis. Add me on steam. By the way I'm 29 years old, so 25-30 age interval would do good. Thank you and have a nice day.

I know the problem - I played alone for weeks without a mic and it got quite lonely at times. Also, I tended to keep missing all the action.

You don't need to join a formal group/clan though. For example, I play on the Wireworld EU server which also provides a Teamspeak. Unlike other servers I've played on, most of the Wireworld players group together on Teamspeak in informal groups. The rule seems to be, don't kill people in your TS channel, but everyone else is fair game (although Bambi-killing on the coast is frowned upon). The teams change quite often, and you'll find yourself running with different people on different nights doing different 'missions'. Last night I ran with a group that had a chopper, and got an ATV out of it. So tonight I'll see if anyone wants to join me for some heli crash-site hunting to get some guns to put into it, and who knows - I might be playing against the chopper guys this time.

The age range is generally early 20's up to about 50, although there a couple of teens on there too. The Admin owns a gaming centre, so sometimes there are kids on from 'the shop', but they behave themselves very well. There's been no real duping/hacking issues in the last few months; certainly no teleporting, genocide or taking control of players' bodies.

The only real problem is in getting 15-30 players online consistently (which is the optimum range for Chernarus in my opinion).

If you're looking for a good private hive server, running the very latest betas, I'd give Wireworld a try.

Wireworld runs the very latest community beta patch. Follow the instructions in the above link - basically join the lobby and get kicked (this is so your player name and id is logged in the database), then email the address in the 'kick message' with your GUID, and finally download the latest beta (3 PBO files) from the link you're given. The details of the TS server are in the lobby message if you get stuck.

Hi welcome to the mod. You are quite welcome to join us for a few games and run with our guys @ The BSB Network.

We're primarily an open community for fair and mature gamers and have our own internal clan as well as hosting several other groups and teams. We've go over 1600 registered users and more than 400 of them are Day Z players. Most of our commninity are adults too over teh age of 20 (well over inmost cases! lol) . Our group has been going since 2002 playing various different games, so we're not some fly by night clan.

We have our own private hive and admins on our Taviana server, as well as our own public Teamspeak 3 server too. We don't mind people joining our server and tagging along with our guys as long as they are friendly and team players. We have several organised fire teams for objective play, as well as provisions for users to form or join their own ad-hoc or casual teams.

We have members from all over the world bit most of our members are based in the UK, Mainland Europe and the US.

If you're interested, check out our website for details @ http://www.bsbnetwork.com
