Need helpful advice

Ok so to start with my pc has everything fully uptodate good graphics and plenty memory.

Now the problem im having atm is only with certain maps it seems.

I start game with commander same as everyone else [oh this wasnt bought to run through steam].

I get into game and get between 4 mins and an hour gameplay then all of a sudden my whole pc shuts its self down.

And i have to flip the main switch at the back of my tower off and back on to restart my pc as pressing the on button dosent seem to work when this happens.

I dont no why this occurs as DAYZ is the only game that this happens on so im hoping someone here can help me resolve this so i can play certain maps.

Oh before i forget the 2 maps this happens on is Namalsk and panthera.

Any advice in resolving this id be most greatfull.

Download IBT (Intel Burn Test) CPUID (temp monitoring program) and run a few tests with the IBT. It sounds like hardware failure. Ideally, IBT halts the test before actual failure and lets you know that your system is unstable.

The idea here is: Use a program that will simulate full-load situations that will then tell you whether or not your hardware configuration is stable. Cause it sounds like your setup is being pushed too far on your current settings.

Alternatively it could be your power supply. You may not be getting enough juice out of your PSU to support your shit. You can always increase voltages via the BIOS though this will increase heat output... so make sure it's not a hardware failure first - if it's hardware failure and you increase voltages that won't help a thing.

Just now noticed this bit. Probably PSU failure. I'm not a hardware expert but I'd guess you need a newer, better one.

Edit: Only get PSUs that are 80 Plus Gold certified or better. Otherwise you get wonky results. If a company claims 700 watt system but it isn't 80 Plus cert then it could be that the thing typically runs at 400 but under certain conditions may hit 700 if you rub it right or some retarded shit.
