Beltir 0 Posted December 23, 2012 After being warped into a field and shot to death 3 or 4 times, I said something in the side chat, they then warped me to an airfield or something and my character suddenly had a full pack of gear (DMR + ammo, among other things) and Battle eye kicked me for it. Do people normally do this? Should I alt+f4 or something if it happens again?I only got Arma II today and immediately started on DayZ, so I don't know if this is normal or something. Inception. 9443 Posted December 23, 2012 Ahh. You needn't worry about this, really; sometimes when your character picks up hacked in weapons/gear you will be kicked for a "script restriction #___". It has happened to me in the past. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Nothing too much to worry about although it is a pain in the arse.If you're new and already having issues with hackers (which it sounds like you are) I would go and find yourself a good private server that is well run. Take a look through the "Private Hive" section of the forums, that's where people advertise them. Now days (sad but true) playing on public servers is not recomended.Also, the good private severs usually have a good community too so it's a nice way of getting to know people or group up. Should I just leave the server if someone is warping me?@Fraggle: Yeah, first server I've joined. Someone warped me earlier to tents full of gear, but I want to play legit so I didn't take anything. Fraggle (DayZ) 15720 Posted December 23, 2012 (edited) It's only my opinion but I think Chernarus is still by far the best. It's the largest and has everything you could want from a map really. The other maps are good too, they became popular when people that have been playing for months got a bit bored. If you're new though Chernarus is where it's at. I would look for one that isn't too heavily customised (some admins add hundreds of vehicles and so on which for me isn't a good thing). Try and find a well established one with good feedback. Beltir 0 Posted December 23, 2012 Any time I join a server now I get kicked saying "script restriction #40", which I'm guessing is because my character still has the glitched stuff on it. Thanks though, How they say to get it is to go onto a server and type "#beclient guid", is there another way to get it?
