The International Armed Forces or (IAF) for short, is a Military tactical clan. We base ourselves of the US military but are

an international clan, with having members from Europe, Asia and throughout America. (IAF) uses many military tactics in our

gameplay, from unconventional warfare to special reconnaissance and many more. (IAF) offers a large MOS selection to our members and also

use military training and tactics in all our MOS.

- Recruit Process -

All new members to the (IAF) are required to under go recruit training. Recruit training takes up to one week to complete and also requires new members to complete certain tasks.

To apply for the (IAF) you must place an application in our recruitment section http://www.theiaf.en...ewforum/2080726 and you will receive a response shortly after and under go a interview on our teamspeak.

- Before recruits play with the Day Z team, they are required to be on probation for one week, and must attend training to complete their probation period.

- If the officers and NCO's decide that the recruit did poorly in training, they may discharge them from the unit or have the recruit retake the training to showsigns of improvement.

- All recruits are required to have the following programs installed: Teamspeak 3; Arma 2 OA, Day Z, and Six Updater (For Mods), Day Z Commander (Optional).

- (IAF) Handbook -

The (IAF) handbook goes into detail of what is expected of a member and alos gives all information a new recruit needs to know about the clan.

The handbook goes covers things like courtiesies, servers, training, promotions, uniforms and more. It is important that all new members read the (IAF) book.

Rules of Engagement is issued by IAF's Command Staff, that assist in the circumstances and limitations within our military forces and may be employed to achieve their objectives. ROE also appears in a variety of forms such as, executing orders, deployment orders, operational plans, or standing directives. Whatever their form, they provide authorisation for and/or limits on, among other things, the use of force, the positioning and posturing of forces, and the employment of certain specific capabilities.

Note* You have the right to commence fire if you feel your life or another is in danger. However remember that the (IAF) is not at war, treat all persons with respect, and always be prepared to act in self defense.

Below is the (IAFs) MOS or military Occupational specailitys. The (IAF) offers are wide range of roles that members can undertake and participate in. Note* all these role require selected training in. All new members will be placed in Infantry to start with and they will then be given the chance to join their selected MOS.

This sounds cool but the rules of engagement seems like they were made by a... non-experienced person.

In DayZ, he who does not strike first will be the first struck

Understandable, but its there because you don't or will really need to KoS everyone if you don't need to. I mean if you were in a town full of zombies KoS someone on sight wouldn't be the smartness option due to it alerting all the infected in the area. Also its a discipline of supplies, can you offered to waste ammo and supplies on maybe just one target? If you kill that player would that alert other enemy players to your position?

Hit and maneuver, that is how i do things. Never stay static in combat...
