Who should I contact?

Recommended Posts

Hello forum, yesterday I had some issues trying to play Dayz with some friends. I found out that I am banned from most servers and I really think this is a mistake. I read the pinned threads and I contacted BattlEye support, but they said that they couldn't help me with my problem.

Here is the E-mail I sent to "[email protected]"

"Hello.

I stopped playing the game a few months ago, simply because my clan stopped doing it. I remember having this issue trying to join "Rhinocrunch's takistan server" But it only happened in that server.

Today, I downloaded the game again and I found out that I am banned in every dayz server. I did a little research and I found that contacting support was the only way to solve this.

"Battleye: Admin Ban W4d9b2182 0x0f44d938"

Here is my GUID: 8a0dfabc4a2af6fcf0617fe9340d5c11 -1 W 4d9b2182 0x0f44d938 //Steam: http://steamcommunit...id/hospiciano0/

I checked the dayz community bans and I am the number 700 in that list, and I really don't know why.

All I can say is that I have never used any programs/script to alter the game,

the only thing that I did pretty often when I started playing was leaving the server when getting shot at.

But I am pretty sure that is not a reason for a global ban.

Please,

answer if possible and sorry if my english isn't the best. Greetings from Chile."

And this is the answer I got:

"Hi,

I can't help you there. The CBL is not administrated by us.

Regards,

xxxxx xxxxx" (there is a name here, I dont think it is a good Idea to show it)

It seems that I am not banned from battleye, but I am in that community ban list for dayz. And it makes sense, to get my GUID I had to join a vainilla Arma 2 server with battleye on it, and had no problem. So what I need is to get out of that list, but I dont know who can get me out. And if the problem was leaving servers in PVP I promise it won't happen again.

Any info will be useful, please answer, and again, sorry if my english is not very good. Thanks.

Your only option is to contact/appeal via individual server admins and ask they remove you from their own lists. The community banlist is no longer maintained, hasn't been for months now and as a result there is no way to appeal to the CBL. Even if you somehow got someone to remove you from the CBL, you would still be on every server that is using it until they update it and since no new bans have been added for months, that's pretty unlikely.

Can I post in this forums a ban appeal so when server admins see it they unban me?

I am contacting the servers where my teammates play in this moment, but this metod might be faster.

You could try, just give it a clear title with the server in it so that the admin might notice it. Also make it really clear in your post what the issue is along with the ban message.

For a start you are a LIAR.

You are a hacker and got what you deserved for being a cheating piece of shit.

Oh looky, what's that on the first Google result?

Once a hacker, always a hacker.
