What's new?

Haven't played for a good few months. The last patch I played on was when there were artifacts all over the place, possibly 1.7.2.4-5 IIRC.

So, what's new? I'm thinking about getting back into the game and attempting to enjoy it like I did my first few weeks playing.

Any custom map recommendations? Any big bugs fixed? Anything noteworthy? Still 1-2 blatant hackers on every server and half the playerbase using ESP?

I suggest checking the patch that you are planning on installing and that your local servers are running and reading the patch notes, probably the best way. :)

Yeah I read the latest changelog, but catching up to where I was (which I'm not even sure of) would be hundreds of lines. I'm wondering the most about the hackers and skiddies, since they ruined the game for me more than any bug or feature/lack of feature could. TY

I think monkey's post is in reaction to the amount of regular threads asking the same thing.

Your best bet is to update and jump online and see. Half the fun is finding new things.

Try a whitelisted server to avoid those pesky scripters though.
