Recommended Posts

Any news when it will be out? Alson when you guys will make a patch that increases the damage made from zeds? I dont want to start a flame war but in warz the zeds to way more damage being more challeging in the process. It will be nice to have more menacing zombies.

I think standalone will go out this month, so no 1.7.5, but hey, who knows, maybe it will go on January.

i dont think a 1.7.5 will ever be out. because standalone will (hopefully) be out this month

Captain clueless strikes again!

DayZ mod is now a community run project and will receive updates as such regardless of standalone.

On a side note it will be interesting to see how they will grow apart.

For those saying it will be out this month:

Dean "Rocket" Hall has made a short statement about the current situation. It seems the planned release date for December 2012 cannot be adhered. Some rumors even say that DayZ Standalone is delayed until June 2013. If you read Deans statement, that date doesn't seem unrealistic.

I know I have been very quiet lately. So this will be really all I'll say for the moment.

I've been pretty depressed about the whole situation. From a personal standpoint, this whole "saga" of the development made me seriously question if I wanted to be involved in the industry and I gave serious thought to cutting my losses and not being involved in the project.

At my Army Discharge medical this week, they noted I now have high blood pressure. Some things in life just aren't worth worrying about.

I've been getting hammered by a massive amount with requests for information about DayZ release, interviews and my reactions to this and stuff and such - but for my own sanity I retreated and have kept to myself. Right now I'm just at home doing bits and pieces on the DayZ development. The rest of the DayZ team is doing the same.

I realize that I went back on my word about releasing an update, but went back into my shell for a bit last week, and I'll come out when the dust is all settled.

Both the mod and standalone are in development, the mod is a community run project and will keep going regardless of standalone, there is no word on when any of these are being released. But these questions are repetitive and it annoys the forum staff, you should just wait it out and see. Patience is the key.

hi,

You can also help to test new features, balancing and finding bugs in the upcoming patch to speed up the release.

Have a look here for more info: http://dayzmod.com/f...ve-testservers/

As intensisty and Mitunzz_ said, the mod will continue to be developed even after the SA release.

cya.
