Spectating/Free-Cam Mode Possible?

Is there any way at all to go into a free-cam mode on a server?

Basically, what I mean is, can you join a lobby and maybe run a script or command so that your player camera is detached from your actual player model, and just look around like that?

If you are just exploring use the editor. I think you can see where on a live server that would be kind of unfair. Although it is possible but extreamly scumy.

This is the one reason why this feature will never exist on vanilla servers.
