Infections = BE ban?

First of all, if this is the wrong place for this question, I apologize, and mods feel free to move this.

So, I was playing on a server today that my friend recommended to me. I was running along the shore with my freshly spawned character, and some douche hacker said on side chat that he'd give everyone (we were like 3 people on at the time, 4 with him) a mod menu (infection) where we could spawn vehicles, teleport on the map and do something else that I don't remember. I would've taken a screenshot but I didn't have dxtory open at the time.

I was afraid to get banned so I ALT-F4ed right away, but now I'm scared not to get a ban for that. =/ I didn't spawn anything, I just exited out of the menu right away.

What can happen if we get the mod menu infection given to us by a douchebag?

Now on behalf of my friend that was on the server as well, what will happen if he spawned a vehicle with that menu (KEEP IN MIND, THE HACKER INFECTED US ALL WITH IT, HE WASN'T THE ONE SCRIPTING, NOR WAS I!) and took a few weapons from the hacker's crate?

I'll leave this here and wait for answers.

Also to all the flamers/haters/whatever, please leave my thread. If my friend or I were the ones to do this, do you seriously think I'd go brag all about it on an official forum? I'm just saying this for a legit reason, because I'm afraid of playing on official servers now, and I want to make sure that I can at least play there and not have to worry about douches getting us banned with their infections.

Also, if anyone in charge says it's okay, If I ever see this again, I'll take a screenshot instead of ALT-F4ing right away, and I'll show everyone what I mean by infection menu.

You can't get banned for that.

Just like you can't get banned for being teleported across the map by a hacker.

You are still teleporting, but BE doesn't punish you for it.

You can't get banned if you are not using the hacks yourself. Only the guy actually injecting the hack menu will get banned. But for your own safety, stay away from hack menus like that

You could get banned from the server though, but not a BE ban.
