Ragnaroots (DayZ) 0 Posted December 20, 2012 Hey guys,Well.. like the subject says i'm looking to upgrade my processor and since arma is a processor intensive game i thought a lot of you guys would have some knowledge about this. so the thing is , i have an AM2 socket , i was wondering if i can use an AM3 processor on my board, i heard this is perfectly possible with a BIOS update , though i am not quite sure how to do this...if anyone could help i would be really grateful!!!Oh yeah , if an AM3 processor would actually work.. you can always recommend me one , my price range is around: 120 Euros ,,,,,,, 160 dollarsThank you very much for taking the time to read this and help out!!!!Ragna :lol: Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Hard to recommend a CPU if the mainboard is unknown. :P (I'm using an AM3 and have a choice of shelling-out a couple hundred for a newer AM3+ board&CPU or spend about $100 and get a 6core AM3) Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
