2 important questions?

Hello DayZ forums.

I have some questions which I really need answering.

Can I host my own private hive server?

- This means like port-forwarding, turning on the server only while the run.bat or whatever is running instead of paying money each month for server which I won't use all the time.

Can I spawn things in on a private hive as an Owner/Admin?

- Such as spawning vehicles, weapons and equipment.

Yup. You can host your own DayZ server.

It can have any rules you want for it to have, and it doesn't need to be open 24/7.

As to HOW to go about this.. I have no idea. Never done it myself. Not even for ARMA 2.

(You might want to make sure you have a very decent internet connection to host a DayZ server even just for friends, though. Not to mention CPU and RAM.)
