Thunder storm explosion hack?

Hi, whilst playing one of the namalsk servers this morning I had a very strange experience. I heard a loud bang in the distance. Then a few seconds later more familiar sounding claps of thunder, after every clap of thunder the screen would go bright white for a few seconds, this carried on for around a minute.Then, after the last clap, the screen again went white and

settled down again to reveal a darkened sort of post nuclear explosion orange tinted sky.The next minute I had collapsed on the floor and it looked as though I had died as I couldn't move but there was no egg timer? The other thing I noticed was that I could still see my character breathing with the cold air.After a minute or so my character came around got up and carried on with his business, very strange, anyone ever whitness this?.

think of it as a alien tech. nuke.

you can hide from it inside buildings, but i hear its still kinda buggy.

Have you ever played the STALKER games? I think it's meant to be a blowout from them...they added it in the latest version of Namalsk, along with the Bloodsucker type infected.

Why not? It makes no sense in the context of Dayz and the only previously sighted stuff like this was scripted in.

Its the Namalsk EVR stuff. Basically you hear a bunch of lightning and shallow booms in the distance and orange screen is soon to follow. It was added in one or two Namalsk updates ago allong with bloodsuckers (invisible monsters that stalk you and try to rip you in two, very hard to kill). I think if you get into a good, solid building the effects will be minimal, although I have still passed out and taken serious damage even when inside buildings.
