dayz standalone news for christmas

well could you please update us rocket for christmas on where you at with standalone ? alot thought after the "december " postings from you that the alpha may start but with this nearly gone can we atleast know where the standalone is for christmas ? :)

would be a very nice christmas box for us rocket :D

also if people knew then maybe with current deals on the normal version we play now if its not going to start in next few weeks they could purchase combined ops and play this version until it is.

this is win win for you and is not a demand ;)

Although Stand Alone's target date was set out as "before the end of the year", I doubt they literally meant the last few days of the year, so I'd say it's safe to assume it's not coming any time soon.

When you consider the recent statement (hint) from Rocket that if they needed to delay the release, they would! That just screamed "we're going to delay release" to me.

Also the fact they were talking about making massive changes to the games architecture just a few weeks back, I'd say we're talking spring/summer next year maybe now. I think that's fair enough, I'm still enjoying the mod (particularly the Taviana map!!) and as long as the game is released in a decent and playable state, it's worth the wait!

im enjoying the normal mode we play now (mainly playing namalsk and taviana) just would be nice to know whats going off and seeing as its christmas it would be a nice gesture to all dayz players knowing whats going off.

sort of a christmas box from rocket to us all ;)

if we cant have standalone for christmas atleast we may know when we may get to play it. like said before if he says og its not for few months then those standing off buying the combined ops packs will probably purchase those while we wait aswell. alot are holding off just incase standalone is next week or whatever.

so its a win win for everyone and also a nice gesture :)

We are all wishing for a Standalone Christmas but at the moment it aint looking likely.

When the time comes the Development team will release the date publicly, in the mean time all the asking of SA just aggravates other players just waiting.

So in the mean time till all the awesome news is released lets divert our attentions elsewhere.... and asking Santa for SA doesn't count!

Well i think we will get an announcement very soon as he didn't post an announcement to us last week when he said he would "for sure". Also the silence probably means they are still adding important stuff in the final stages before release, so if he would have given us an announcement last week some things might change in the release (they could add/remove stuff just before releasing), just sayin ^^

Don´t expect it to December. Or even January. I place my bets on Febrary (late). Middle March would be a good bet to. So everyone forget about the SA existence for now, and if the world survives friday, just play Namalsk and Taviana new versions and be happy for another 3 months.

2% chance that it will be out this month, So don't hold your breath. If it was coming in the next week there would be some kind of info on Steam and probably from the developers too.

And because I'm the all knowing oracle I am going to stop waiting and spend the moneys on Farcry3 as I know I shall be paid once again at least before DayZ Standalone is out.

what some may not get is alot will be considering or have held off buying combined ops to play what we play now

like me for eg i may need to 2 more copies for my sons to play but if standalone is out in next few weeks then is it worth waiting those few more weeks?

so like me and many others who have been told to wait for standalone if its been put back months they could buy the combined ops pack and still play and get monies worth for three months or so if thats the case.

hope some understand this and realize that alot of sales could be generated by answering the all important question of when its out.

if i know i can either buy 2 combined ops packs today but if i did and then next week its annouced its a week till standalone your gunna be pissed.
