BattlEye: At my wits end.

So, I am at the point of driving off a cliff. I have been battling BattlEye trying to get it to update for 3 days now, I have tried every trick/tutorial/magic trick/spell in the damn book and NOTHING is working.

This is what im getting when joining a server:

BattlEye Client: Initializing (v1.182)

BattlEye Client: Server requiring client version 1.185

BattlEye Client: Update successfully completed. Restarting...

BattlEye Client: Initialized (v1.182)

15-30 seconds later I am kicked for BattlEye "Failing to Update".

I have run steam in admin, same with arma2oa, I have disabled firewalls, turned off UAC and DEC, re-installed countless times, changed CD keys, verified files a thousand times, manually installed BE countless times, gotten files from friends who have working versions and still nothing, duck tape, hammering, restarting, reinstalling, running without dayz commander, running without steam, and pretty much anything else you could think of. I contacted BattlEye to see if PERHAPS their firewall banned my IP and is preventing me from updating, but short of a f**king voodoo curse, i have no idea whats going on.

Please for god sakes, help me. I will PAY to have this solved at this point.

Change your player profile name. It's worked for me in the past. I don't know why, but it has.
