Geth Legion 0 Posted December 18, 2012 To add along with the fortifications I had a query that certain ammo's are very hard to come across, so you could make/ find shells/casings powder and such needed for making ammo, then you could build a bullet station or bench to combine these. Just a thought.
IncognitoNico 71 Posted December 18, 2012 don't see it happening because all the bullets lose the original shape with the impact, plus could get inside the area of "crafting sniper rifles out of tin cans" thing rocket didn't likeIt would be interesting to see something like this tho
Average Pegasus 646 Posted December 18, 2012 Look like something I see in a other game.... Ah yeah Fallout New vegas...
pox11223 6 Posted December 18, 2012 sounds like something that came out of fallout new vegas where you need a perk to make ammo w/ tin cans xDbut ya in a real life survival situation i dont think ill be finding good casings anywhere or gun powder just lying around unless they invent in-game a gun store that has these things. btw also you do realize youll need to find the bullet top itself to put in the casing which will probably require going into the zombie you shot and somehow pulling out the bullets to make a new bullet. this also requires you to find a primer (the thing the gun hits to make the fuse go off) if the shell doesnt have one :/ the whole thing would be too complicated in my opinon
terminal_boy 860 Posted December 18, 2012 No.Manufacturing modern small arms ammunition isn't like bolting a new wheel on a car as you need a whole lot of precision equipment, the correct components and the correct loading data if you don't want your weapon to go boom in a bad way.Saying that, fitting a main rotor assembly to a helicopter takes a lot longer than 10 seconds and needs very specialised tools...
