Server hosting?

Hey guys, I am thinking about renting a dayz server. I don;t know a lot about server hosting, only the basics. Do I need a good computer to host? I mean, I can play dayz but only very low settings, my internet is quite good so I don't think that's a problem. I just need to know if I need a good computer to host. Thanks

If you're renting a server, you're not hosting it yourself.

Renting a server means that you are paying someone else to host a server that you can control over a Remote Console/Tool.

So your computer or connection has nothing to do with the server's performance.
