Title says it, I just want to know for a friend. He doesn't want to wait for the standalone.

U can use both to play Dayz.

Have not read it that they say u must use full game ama 2, so its still posble to use both way.

A better idea for him and all athor new players buy the arma 2 combined operations, this arma have both arma"s,

Arma 2 and Arma2 arrowhead.

Yes, although the graphics will be lower resolution using ArmA 2: Free
